Protectorate solos

Because seriously it seemed that you were trying to shoehorn the solos into 3 columns (or rather, categories): Exemplars, Orders and Other. In case you didn't notice, the Exemplars are a martial order too. You put them in a separate column from the Allegiants and the Paladins because they had disproportionately more units (and because they didn't have 'Order' in their name), right? Same for the Flameguard (in this case, Pyrrhus and Nicia). If anything, the categories, if they'd even be there, should be: Martial Orders, Vassals and Other. Or better, just forget about them and list the solos in alphabetical order. - Pourquoi (talk) 17:36, 22 August 2015 (MDT)

Present tense

If I remember correctly Reckoning is set in early 609 AR, which is only a little over 4 years from the start of Escalation (near the end of 604 AR). Since the Avatar's initial service date is 606 AR, it couldn't have been finished at that point. Even if its construction is only part of the backstory, it's still contemporary with part of the main story, so the present tense is used here. - Pourquoi (talk) 21:11, 28 September 2015 (MDT)

Forget what I said about Reckoning. It's not relevant to the topic at hand. All IK stories are written from an in-universe POV, so past tense is always used. If you haven't noticed, the point that separates usage of present and past tense is NOT the start of 606 AR. It's the start of the Llaelese War, near the very end of 604 AR. Read the pages of Karchev, Strakhov and Reznik - the events after this date are always written in present tense, even if only part of the backstory.
